New Orleans is said to be the most haunted city in the US. No wonder you can find dozens of haunted bars here – Kerry Irish Pub, The Old Absinthe House, Alibi Bar, Lafitte’s Blacksmith’s Shop. Famous haunted houses and even haunted hotels such as The Bourbon Orleans, The Lamothe House, The Andrew Jackson Hotel among many others, attract curious visitors not only around Halloween. With such a long history of the city, known for its cemeteries and voodoo culture, it is no wonder that there are so many reported paranormal activities, in addition to the numerous musical and cultural events that take place year-round. We already wrote about the famous Voodoo Music Fest.
Halloween fans from all over the world are also attending the Horror show in the House of Shock – a legendary attraction known for more than 20 years already. The outside Horrow Show entertainment is free – with plenty of spots to watch the freaks while eating food from Hell’s Kitchen. One of the most famous events of NOLA Halloween night is the walking parade at Molly’s at the Market – also free, starting at dusk and lasting after midnight. The Halloween 28 is a fest, benefitting Project Lazarus for people suffering from AIDS. The famous Hermann-Grima House, located at 820 St Louis Street in French Quarter will be drapped in black and set as for a funeral – a great place to visit until mid-November. With so many events and venues visitors might need a good, safe and equipped-against-vampire-attacks contemporary transportation. We at My Airport Trip are pleased to offer our executive limousines and ready to protect the guests of New Orleans and Halloween fans from all over the world against all living and dead creatures, daring to scare them very, very far-away. Welcome to NOLA, trick or treat!
